The Good News Bears are the Livermore den of the Good Bears of the World. We are a non-profit group who donate teddy bears to local police and fire departments, hospitals, shelters, and other needy Bay Area groups who can help distribute bear hugs to those who need one. The den meets monthly on the third Thursday at the Livermore Police Department Community Room. Fundraisers include garden tours and teddy bear teas.
We are a non-profit donating stuffed animals to hospitals, shelters, emergency services, etc. Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Livermore Police Station at 6:30 pm. We accept not only cash donations to purchase new teddy bears, but also gently used stuffed animals from Beanie Baby size to 18"

Japanese mothers’ group “Tukushinbo” is having a Japanese class for children in Pleasanton and we are open for new members starting October. We provide an informal classroom-like environment for children to learn Japanese culture and language through activities that involve songs and games.
