Steve Powell, a winery owner in Livermore called, has been dubbed as the Singing Winemaker for his penchance for breaking out in song as people taste his wines in the community tasting room known as Tesla Vintners.
But the wine maker is singing an off-key tune now that he has been denied a use permit that would have allowed him to develop an event and wedding center.
According to reports, zoning board commissioners were concerned about traffic and also the length of time it took Powell to bring some of his buildings up to code.
His defense was that he just wanted to do what half of the 38 wineries are already doing.
